We are the software and energy division of DSA Grupo. We bring four decades of industrial capability to the world of data, control and security.
Who we are
Digital Energy Systems was founded in 2021 within DSA Grupo to meet what industry was starting to ask for and what mechanics alone cannot solve: digitalising processes, controlling facilities, measuring what they consume and protecting them.
We do it with a different starting point. We do not come from software: we come from a company that has spent four decades designing and building production lines. We know what happens in a plant when something stops, because we built the machines that stop.
That is why our projects start at the electrical switchboard and end at the control panel, with no one having to translate between two worlds.
How we work
We work alongside the client throughout the whole journey, not in closed phases that someone else picks up and carries on. The team that defines the scope is the one that then implements it and the one that supports the system once it is in production.
We deploy solutions that make decisions based on data, not dashboards that someone has to interpret. And we do it to the standards and with the international experience of the industrial group we belong to.

Process automation. Building management systems. AI-driven software development. R&D&I engineering. Electrical switchboard manufacturing. And cybersecurity for industrial systems.
A project rarely needs just one. More often, a client comes to us for digitalisation and ends up needing metering, control and protection for the system they have just installed. Having them all in-house is what stops that from turning into three suppliers and two coordination meetings a week.

They are different environments with one thing in common: the system cannot go down, and when something fails you need to know why. That is why we work where regulatory and availability requirements are high, not where it is enough for things to work most of the time.
Commitment
We train those coming up behind us. We deliver Dual Vocational Training in Industrial Automation and Robotics, in Electrical and Automated Installations and in Multiplatform Application Development, with Salesianos and the University of Cádiz, and we take part in the UCA Master's in Renewable Energy.
We specifically support women joining STEM roles through internships and training, and we hold a contract with a Special Employment Centre for people with disabilities.
In 2025 this work received the 9th Alianza para la FP Dual Award in the SME category.
Standards
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, certified by SGS with a scope covering DSA, AMSX and DES. Spain's National Security Framework (ENS) at MEDIUM category, under Royal Decree 311/2022. And projects delivered in accordance with the US Department of Defense UFGS specifications.
